Order Before Glory
Order Before Glory
Reading: Acts 1:15-26; 1 Corinthians 14:33, 40
Devotional: Before Pentecost's glory could fall, a gap had to be filled. Eleven needed to become twelve. God doesn't build on dysfunction—He brings alignment before outpouring.
We want to skip the uncomfortable work of addressing what's missing, but God won't bypass order to give us glory. Peter didn't ignore Judas's betrayal or the broken circle; he leaned into the gap with Scripture and prayer. Real spiritual maturity means facing what's lacking, not turning away from it.
God is systematic, balanced, and structured—look at creation, the tabernacle, the temple, even human biology. He places His glory in structure. What gap is God revealing in your life? Where have you been trying to jump higher and spin faster instead of simply getting your life in order?
God is waiting for you to pull the lever of obedience in that one area before releasing the next level of His power.
