Preparation for Power

Preparation for Power

Reading: Acts 2:1-4; Luke 24:49

Devotional: The disciples spent days in position, united in posture, bringing order before the power came. They couldn't control the timing, but they could control their obedience. The gap between promise and fulfillment isn't wasted time—it's preparation.

God uses the waiting to align us, expose our gaps, and unite us in prayer. When Pentecost finally came, it fell on people who were ready, positioned, and in order. You may be living in the gap right now—between what God promised and what you're experiencing. Don't despise this season. Use it to get in position, develop the right posture, and establish divine order in your life.

The glory is coming, but are you ready? Stop standing still and start moving in obedience. Stop praying alone and start praying with others. Stop ignoring the gaps and start filling them with God's truth. Your Pentecost moment is being prepared—make sure you're prepared for it.
