There is no Switzerland in the spiritual realm—no neutral territory where we can remain uncommitted. If Christ is not Lord of all, He is not Lord at all. Every moment we delay full surrender, something else occupies the throne of our hearts. Idols aren't always obvious; they're simply anything we prioritize above Jesus.
The tragedy isn't just rejecting the King; it's what replaces Him when we do. Whatever controls you becomes your functional lord, whether that's comfort, approval, success, or self-preservation. Today is your Palm Sunday moment: Will you wave branches in exuberant worship, or will you join those who say, "Calm down"?
Heaven isn't confused about what it wants from you—total, full, unquestioned surrender. Choose this day whom you will serve. Choose the King.
