Evidence and Faith

Evidence and Faith

Reading: Acts 4:14-22; John 20:24-29

Devotional: The healed man stood before the council—undeniable evidence of God's power. Yet the religious leaders rejected what they couldn't refute. This reveals a sobering truth: evidence doesn't automatically produce faith. People often reject truth not because they lack proof, but because they dislike where that truth leads them.

Your transformed life is evidence that confronts the world. When people see the change in you—the boldness that doesn't match your background, the peace that defies your circumstances—they must make a choice. Some will glorify God; others will harden their hearts.

Your responsibility isn't to convince everyone, but to remain faithful to what you've seen and heard. Let your life be such compelling evidence that people must decide what to do with Jesus.
