The Pattern of Rejection
Reading: Acts 7:9-16, 23-29 (Joseph and Moses rejected)
Devotional: Stephen revealed a sobering pattern: God sends deliverers, but His people reject them—at first. Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery. Moses was refused with the question, "Who made you ruler and judge?" Yet both became God's instruments of salvation. Here's the encouraging truth: man's rejection never cancels God's purpose. Joseph was rejected but became the savior of his family. Moses was rejected but led Israel to freedom.
