The Place You Never Expected
Reading: Acts 8:5-8
Devotional: Samaria was not on anyone's list. Centuries of division, distrust, and contempt had made it a place no faithful Jew would willingly enter. Yet Philip went, preached, and an entire city erupted in joy. The place they assumed God would bypass became a place of revival.
God has a consistent habit of showing up in the places we have written off. Never assume that because a person appears to be far from God, he is not already drawing them to himself. The greatest harvest is often just beyond the edge of your comfortable map. Go where God is already working.
Reflection: Is there a person or a place in your life that you have quietly assumed is beyond God's reach?
